It keeps telling me "you must wear a nureal interface suit in order to use the simulation pod"

I already have it on though.

I've tried taking it on and off again and still nothing.

I've tried restarting my game, waiting in game days. Leaving the outpost and coming back and nothing has fixed it

As it says in the title of the post I am searching for robot spawn locations, if anyone knows of a map that has all locations marked I would hugely appreciate it.

I am at old olney with around 30pc hp with no stimpaks. I can neither survive on the surface nor in the underground for the "find the ruins of Olney powerworks" because of deathclaws not letting me stay alive for two seconds.

I have plenty of guns but none of those seem to be effective against deathclaws.

Also the deathclaw controller scrambler stopped being of any use at this beginning of this quest. Please advise.

Edit: i came out of old olney, travelled back to the citadel, found some aqua pura and regained the hp to full, and travelled back to old olney. Even then I am unable to survive long against the deathclaws. Which gun is the best against them?

I'm just a few achievements away from getting them all, does anyone know of any locations with a lot of locked terminals?

Been replaying Fallout 3 via New Vegas by using the mod Tale of Two Wastelands. It holds up pretty good exploration and gameplay wise (though I have installed some mods) but holy god is Rivet City a nightmare to navigate. I'm getting Vivec City flashbacks. Just hallways and hallways, no sense of direction or landmarks and always getting lost. I'm playing without a quest marker which usually makes exploration more interesting but in Rivet City I had to just turn it back on again. What a labyrinth.

Every time I launch fallout 3 (windows 11) and press play on the launcher, it just cuts to a black screen (maybe, sometimes it doesn’t even get that far) and closes immediately. No loading screen or anything. I’ve tried to install patches, running it in compatibility mode, run it as an administrator, all of the above, and nothing works. What should I do?

So I zonked him with my Frenzy spell I mean trance gun and happily put that collar on him…I got some caps, he can live out his days Contributing to wasteland society :)

So I've gotten to where you kill colonel autumn abd then turn on project purity, then it just ends the game, and when I download broken steel, it days it's done but doesn't go to the game, any help?

I think FO3 really got the desolation and desperation of a post nuclear wasteland. There aren't many settlements, radiation is everywhere and the main cities are bombed out piles of rubble. Given that DC got hit by a lot of bombs, the Capital Wasteland feels really lifeless compared to the FNV and FO4. You get the feeling that nothing has survived. And that is what I think Fallout 3 excelled at the most, personally. I'm curious to hear what you folks have to say.

I’m facing an issue where the endgame time is running very slow almost like it’s in slow motion, but my camera is able to be moved just fine with a noticably slower speed.

I noticed that the game runs a little bit faster when inside a smaller space like the megaton house, but runs very slow and open world areas, please help because I’m desperate to play fallout three and have been troubleshooting for the past month or so

2020 Mac Pro 13" M1 Fallout 3 GOTY I use GOG and Heroic

ive tried fpsclamp, vsync, and messed with graphics alot. No improvements

I am level 15 and I feel like my character isn't much different in terms of power/coolness from like 5 or 7 levels ago.

I also have about 10k worth of caps that I don't really have much to do with. There's no new weapons to spend it on, or cool armor. The vendors keep selling the same stuff from before. I don't see a reason to upgrade my house, just thinking about buying a lab to see if there's anything new there.

I maxed out small guns first, is that why? Aside from being able to unlock harder containers/terminals, there's not much making me feel like my character is getting more epic.

The enemies are also the same. The super mutants are the same as before. After I saw the behemoth mutant I was like "holy shit" and I really thought I would get more of these moments, it was so cool.

Am I being too impatient? Just for reference I am about to go to Vault 87. Am I too early in the story? I've done a lot of side quests.

crafting explosives, the Mad Bomber perk specifically, makes an explosive build really interesting and a lot of fun in FNV. but I'd love to hear your experiences with explosives in Fallout 3.

it's been forever since I replayed 3, but it's been even longer since I've gone all in on explosives. do I run this build through Fo3 or FNV once again?

p.s. can I reverse pickpocket a frag into Dad's pocket at the end...?
