Morey used the Clippers to offload Harden and Tucker
While also taking their expiring contracts (Morris, Batum etc)
Which gives him the cap space to sign PG
Losing PG makes the Clippers worse and their draft picks more desirable
And guess who got 2 first round and 2 second round Clippers picks in the Harden Trade? Professor Moreyarty, that's who.
