Though frankly that's probably the only reason Biden still has a chance

This is true. I voted for Fetterman because he lived in PA. I wasn't voting for an outsider. So did many others, regardless of his views.

My point was that this is not a strong argument, because the scenario was very different.

A TV grifter who ought to be ruled ineligible by a straight reading of the law? Who does that describe? Fettermans opponent or Bidens?

Sounds like an exactly similar situation to me
