Good job to the creators. They are on a mission and I am loving every part of it!

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '18

Just like a catholic priest loves every part of it when he's raping a little boy.

Okay okay, that’s was a good one

That's what the Catholic priest said after raping a little boy!

period blood isn't just blood though... its the cell lining and mucus and that would all be mixed in with the natural lubrication produced by arousal creating a very different mixture than just straight blood...

didn't think I'd type any of that out this morning.

It dries up and it probably dries some of her natural lubricant along with it, its a bad lubricant, especially if she doesn't make a lot of lube.

20

u/malinhuahua Oct 05 '18

Girl here - the blood doesn’t dry when it’s still inside us, that would be... a really fucking weird and horrible sensation. Technically vaginas are never dry (they just get more lubed when we’re aroused). We aren’t walking around with crusted up dried blood in there, though if we get spotting on our underwear, that’ll dry up in an hour or so. Period blood actually makes a a crazy fantastic (but very messy) lube. Even if a girl doesn’t get as naturally lubricated as others, the most common reason a girl would not be up to standard lubrication level is due to her birth control medication.

Hell, I’m Catholic and really enjoyed last night’s episode and Red Hot Catholic Love.

595

u/ClockworkDreamz Oct 04 '18

I'm a damn dirty liberal, and some of my favorite episodes are the ones where they're making fun of us... it's gotten to the point where PC Principal has become one of my favorite characters. People really need to get sense humor and stop taking themselves so seriously, and not just laugh when they're making fun of people they don't like.

243

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '18

Everyone I've asked here in Canada loves when they poke fun at us. Those follow the only road and the royal wedding episodes were some of my favourites.

124

We love when they make fun of us because we're like that retarded kid cousin who's excitement tops out when we hear our own name get mentioned when they do the Name Song on Sesame Street.

You don't have to do much to make us happy. Just say "Canada" and we all go "HEY THAT'S US THEY SAID OUR NAME YAY!!!"

  • This is Matt and Trey's own explanation for this phenomenon, btw. As a Canuck, I gotta agree.

And we absolutely do not like it when anyone makes fun of the things we give enormous shits about like our politics or healthcare or multiculturalism. Once you get past naming us, few people are less self-involved and ironically angrily committed to their international reputation of being "good dudes". But SP wisely stays away from mentioning that.

The fact that Isaac Hayes stuck around for a bit after the scientology episode has to say something about Matt and Trey's character.

12

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '18

“Stuck around” isn’t entirely accurate. He didn’t do any voice acting since the 3rd episode of that season, and the Scientology episode was the 12th, so its not like he was really with them during that time frame. Also, Haye’s son has claimed that the decision to leave wasn’t made by his dad, but by people representing him.

"The October 3rd episode of “South Park,” titled “A Boy and a Priest,” portrayed molesting priests as pedophiles. This is factually inaccurate:  almost all the molesters–8 in 10–have been homosexuals. (Wtf?)

Therefore, the cartoon-victim characters should have been depicted as adolescents, not kids.

(Okay, thanks for giving us that distinction)

In Hollywood, the creators of “South Park,” Trey Parker and Matt Stone, are seen as courageous. They are really cowards. It takes courage to tell the truth."

Their response is in absolute shambles, I honestly can't fathom why they'd try to respond in the first place.

Honestly, I’m not surprised. When the Pope said that the church must apologize to the gays, the poor, and exploited. Bill Donahue was asked on CNN if he would follow this advice and he gave this answer:

“As a matter of fact, I want an apology from gays.”

117

u/RogueZ1 Oct 04 '18

I didn't know Catholic League President = Bill Donahue... this is now making way more sense lol

60

66

u/friedpikmin Oct 04 '18

It's just baffling that they are blaming homosexuals. I haven't seen the episode, but I have a feeling they are missing the entire point.

Could the molesters have been gay? Sure. But kids were still molested in their organization. The sexual orientation is completely irrelevant. It's so rampant and does not happen nearly at the same level as other religious organizations, so clearly something is wrong with their way of doing things.

19

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '18

Its not the church responding. Its the crazy catholic league head Bill Donahue.

Not excusing the church for everything, but its the standard rich asshole pretending to speak for everyone when he just speaks for himself.

→ More replies (1)

11

u/Insanepaco247 Oct 05 '18

The problem is that to them, it's not irrelevant. The organization isn't corrupt; it's those horrible horrible homosexuals who were sent by Satan to infiltrate them and make them seem evil to the outside world.

u/john_the_fisherman Oct 05 '18 edited Oct 05 '18

Not attempting to align myself with Bill Donahue or the Catholic league, but there is a growing unofficial but legitimate thought among Catholics that the incidences of child molestation within the Church is because of homosexual priests.

I have mentioned this elsewhere, but joining the priesthood was/is a reasonable path for many closeted young homosexuals to avoid social stigma, and an easy explanation as to why they were not married or have any children. I think this was especially relevant in past decades and can explain why the majority of pedophiles within the Church are older. This is not to say that homosexuals are more likely to be pedophiles than other sexual orientations, but that homosexuals who joined the clergy for the wrong reasons (social convenience) and who were obligated into a life of "celibacy," are more likely to break their vows. This can explain why the overwhelming majority of the victims have been male, when assumedly the priests have equal access to both sexes.

I will add that since (Western) society has been a lot more welcoming to the idea of LGBTQ, I have faith that the the number of child assault cases within the Church will only go down once the older generations ages out. Also, if it needs to be said, this is not a defense of how the Catholic Church has handled or even covered up these incidents.

19

u/goavsgo1988 Oct 04 '18

I’m glad someone broke this down better than I could have. I figured I was reading the statement wrong because it made zero sense. But holy shit, what a poor response!

20

u/furiousxgeorge Oct 04 '18

Keep in mind that despite what the media may lead you to believe this douche doesn't actually speak for Catholics. His organization has no official ties to the Church and he is generally regarded as the douchebag he obviously is outside of extremely conservative Church circles.

The Catholic League is kind of like the Catholic NRA. A lot more conservative, extreme, politically involved than the bulk of the people it supposedly represents. The way they court controversy by wading in guns blazing in defense of accused priests definitely reminds me of how the NRA reacts to school shootings. They completely lose sight of priority #1, the victims and future potential victims, because they are obsessed with their own self indulgent self interest.

21

u/Corne777 Oct 05 '18

"Come on that's unrealistic, we don't rape kids that young, we wait a few more years then rape them.".

A+ defense, South Park should be embarrassed by this oversight.

13

u/Sks44 Oct 04 '18

The vast majority of the abuse cases against catholic clergy have been against teenage boys and not preteens. People like Donahoe blame gay men in the clergy for this.

21

u/j0kerclash Oct 04 '18

Thats a good summary of what he's saying.

The fact that it's teenage boys rather than pre-teens hardly makes it better though, and since being gay doesn't make you a child molester, Donahoe's point isn't really justifiable.

2

u/Sks44 Oct 04 '18

I had a roommate who was a hardcore caflick and he’d make this argument. Basically, he said the priests who were shuffled around were gay dudes who would be like “I banged a teenager. My bad.” And the older gay priests would be like “been there. Don’t do it again. We’ll move you.”. Meanwhile, the media paints it as priests banging second graders because that’s a much more horrific crime. Because they don’t have the balls (according to this line of thinking) to go after the gay dudes in our modern gay friendly culture.

To me, both are awful crimes. As SP has pointed out, just because the general populace is dumb and thinks X, doesn’t excuse shitty awfulness. It’s two cannibals arguing over which one is worse, the guy who cooked the meat or ate it raw. Both you muddafuckas are cannibals.

9

u/j0kerclash Oct 04 '18

Yeah pretty much, the only thing I'd disagree on would be the sexuality of those that are moving the child molesters; sexual orientation doesn't inherently mean that their sexual behaviour is more or less deviant than other sexualities, there is plenty of motivation for a straight veteran priest to try and bury the situation as well, I understand that this scenario could happen, but the assumption that it's a homosexuality problem within the church is a scapegoat for them covering it up, and in doing so justifies the vilification of homosexuality even though there are other limiting factors which are clearly creating a culture of child abuse within the religion.

6

u/roque72 Oct 04 '18

Have any of these "gay priests" ever been caught fucking each other? It wouldn't be illegal, so you'd think it would be easier for them if it was really the case.

Also, if you watch The Keepers on Netflix, it tells the true story of priests in a girl's catholic school, with the help of police, raped the girls and murdered a nun who found out. They're pedophiles who are abusing their power.

24

u/j0kerclash Oct 04 '18

The assumed victims by the clean up crew are the children, nothing actually happened but it's implied that it happens often in other churches.

7

u/SergioFromTX Oct 05 '18

Of course, I agree. I was just pointing out another way that Bill Donahue's complaints didn't apply to the actual episode.

7

u/Insanepaco247 Oct 05 '18

Well you can't expect him to actually watch the thing. Much better to skim for a few key words and phrases that confirm your bias than to get to know the thing you're talking about and have to face that your interpretation might be wrong.

“8/10 molesters were gay, so the victims should have been portrayed older.”

They didn’t have an issue with the catholic cleanup crew that were trying to get rid of semen and anal blood stains. Just that Butters wasn’t old enough before the cleaners abducted them.

Solid argument.

105

u/KingMcnuggets Oct 04 '18

I read the article and that sentence struck me as weird. Are they saying that children cant be gay so they should be portrayed as gay adolescents in their teens?

I almost liken that to Chris hansen saying "did you know she was 13" and the molester saying "...She said she was 15!" like it's somehow better.

I would think if your organization is known for molesting ANYONE, maybe don't call people on technical points, just shut the hell up. Nobody wants to hear the molester's justification as if you could talk your way out of it.

Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on last night’s episode of Comedy Central’s “South Park”: The October 3rd episode of “South Park,” titled “A Boy and a Priest,” portrayed molesting priests as pedophiles. This is factually inaccurate:  almost all the molesters–8 in 10–have been homosexuals. Therefore, the cartoon-victim characters should have been depicted as adolescents, not kids.

Oh, my mistake. Move right along, sir.

That statement literally doesn't make sense.

82

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '18

“A Boy and a Priest” portrayed molesting priests as pedophiles. This is factually inaccurate

In Hollywood, the creators of “South Park,” Trey Parker and Matt Stone, are seen as courageous.

They are really cowards. It takes courage to tell the truth.

So basically:

  1. It takes courage to tell the truth.

  2. It's inaccurate that priests are portrayed as pedophiles.

  3. Since they aren't telling the truth, they are cowards.

LOGIC: 0

Also hilarious nitpick:

“A Boy and a Priest,” portrayed molesting priests as pedophiles. This is factually inaccurate: almost all the molesters–8 in 10–have been homosexuals.

"Matt and Trey implied that priests are pedophiles. This isn't true because most are actually homos."

What. The. Fuck.

29

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '18

And of course the irony is that Trey and Matt didn't actually feature ANY "cartoon-victim characters"

11

u/RikaMX Oct 04 '18

I don't think that dude watched the episode, probably just read about it, lazy ass.

11

u/sheepsleepdeep Oct 04 '18

Not even anything you mentioned, but the part about pedophiles being homosexuals and then going into a completely unrelated point as if that justifies whatever point they were trying to make that isn't quite clear.

I can remember how Bill Donohue threw a fit about the 'Bloody Mary' episode. He said it was insulting to Catholics and he demanded an apology from the network, for the episode to be pulled from rotation and it not be included in the dvd set-- none of which happened.

Later Trey and Matt did an episode where they bashed him personally. They even had him kill Jesus himself. He was pretty butt-hurt about it.

Hey, Bill, stop taking them on-- you're going to lose! They took on Tom Cruise AND Scientology and won.

Which episode was that?

s09e12. And the fudge packer got another round in the censored 200 + 201 episodes https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/200_(South_Park).

I'm Catholic and Bill Donahue isn't. He's a jackass who uses Catholicism to make money. Sorry for him.

I found out yesterday that a boy I knew when I was in Catholic school was molested by one of the priests. A man I knew very well and took Holy Communion from on many occasions.

This boy, now a man, has had a lifelong problem with alcohol and PTSD stemming from his abuse.

The Catholic Church can go fuck itself.

This post need more attention

41

u/JimGerm Oct 04 '18

The creators are many things, but cowards they are absolutely not.

No one, and I mean NO ONE is off limits in South park, and that's the single greatest thing about the show.

13

u/overcatastrophe Oct 05 '18

Scientologists couldn't even stop them

Manatees are very ethical writers.

35

u/krazysh0t Oct 04 '18

The Catholic Church still can't handle satire? No surprise here.

19

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '18

Catholic League isn't the Catholic Church

9

u/joey_sandwich277 Oct 05 '18

Yeah, as someone who was raised a strict Catholic, I had never heard of the Catholic League until today. Looks like a bunch of angry white men who just want to sue people and claim it's in the name of Catholicism.

32

u/dubekoms420 Oct 04 '18

That cum cleanup crew killed me.

44

u/Diegobyte Oct 04 '18

Father Maxi was right, the church really is a cancer.

26

u/atdifreak64 Oct 04 '18

This reminds me when they got pissed at the Simpsons episode where Bart asks Marge if they can go catholic so they can have “communion wafers and booze”

23

u/ShellSwitch Oct 04 '18

I'm a firm believer in God but it doesnt mean I dont keep myself open to a good sense of humor. I love South park and have seen every episode multiple times.

Hats off to Matt and Trey!

20

u/CryBabyConservative Oct 04 '18

The cowards are those who protected and continue to protect the priest rapists.

17

u/xlMrCoyotelx Oct 04 '18

It’s the Scientology episode all over again.

19

u/TheCanadianEmpire Oct 04 '18

This is what they actually believe

10

u/InfiltratorOmega Oct 04 '18

Can I just check this, he'd be okay with it if they'd said priests molest boys? It's just the age of the victims he doesn't agree with?

"Oh sure, priests molest boys, but not young boys. We're not paedophiles, we only sexually assault them when they've grown up a bit"

10

u/Filmmagician Oct 04 '18

Really? Like this was the first time they've made fun of the Catholic church. Like the catholic church should be pointing fingers right now lol

8

u/CelatiMortem Oct 04 '18

They’re cowards because they didn’t portray the priests who like to molest children as homosexuals who preferred to molest adolescents? Like, would that have made it any better? I’m pretty sure molesting adolescents isn’t very Christian, Bill.

6

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '18

I haven't watched it yet but I can't wait to watch it tonight!

7

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '18

haha fucking catholics lmao

Catholics fucking

6

u/TheCanadianEmpire Oct 04 '18

little boys am I right?

6

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '18

That’s a good one. Can I post that?

6

u/Sks44 Oct 04 '18

I was raised Catholic. It was funny. The RCC does lots of good but it’s handling of this issue has been a cavalcade of fuck ups.

The Catholic League is basically one asshole in Maryland. He speaks for himself.

7

u/ANormalSpudBoy Oct 05 '18

As a catholic I would hope you guys would be more interested in getting the pope to do something about the constant child fucking instead of getting mad at South Park for poking fun. Which by the way, they did nearly a decade ago!

So sayeth the spider!

5

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '18

Grown men who rape little kids are the real cowards

The punchline with him “winning” a transfer is great because that’s what the church was doing for years.

5

u/Klaeni Oct 04 '18

Hahahahaha!

Better to have homosexual priests who molest teenagers?

What would Jesus say?

5

u/Completelyshitfaced Oct 04 '18

”Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on last night’s episode of Comedy Central’s “South Park”:

The October 3rd episode of “South Park,” titled “A Boy and a Priest,” portrayed molesting priests as pedophiles. This is factually inaccurate: almost all the molesters–8 in 10–have been homosexuals. Therefore, the cartoon-victim characters should have been depicted as adolescents, not kids.”

What in the actual fuck? Can someone please explain what the point he is trying to make to me here is?

4

u/horkus1 Oct 05 '18

So, he’s taking issue with the age of victims and sexual orientation of the predatory priests but NOT whether or not they are abused?

Holy. Shit.

5

u/[deleted] Oct 05 '18

the Catholic Church won't cringe at boys getting raped but will cringe at a to South Park episode. SMH

5

u/vman4402 Oct 05 '18

This is similar to a pedo trying to justify their actions by saying, “The media is lying about me when they said I fucked a six year old. He was actually nine”. Still illegal (and gross), you child rapists.

3

u/coatrack68 Oct 04 '18

Well...now I have to watch the episode...

3

u/GT225 Oct 04 '18

Catholic League president Bill Donohue comments on last night’s episode of Comedy Central’s “South Park”:

In Hollywood, the creators of “South Park,” Trey Parker and Matt Stone, are seen as courageous. They are really cowards. It takes courage to tell the truth.

What? I am having some trouble warping my head around this. The church seams like it have a problem with the fact that the boys were too young? That people being molested isn't the problem, that Gay priest are?

What The Fuck Dose This Fucker Mean?!?

→ More replies (1)

3

u/Jaysyn4Reddit Oct 04 '18

Like they give a shit about the opinion of people who cover for pedophiles.

Also, Bill Donahue is a a pile of smegma & feces in a human skin sack.

3

u/[deleted] Oct 04 '18

That statement was disturbing. Being gay does not excuse pedophilia.

3

u/Freddy_McNernie Oct 04 '18

Red Hot Catholic Love was IMO, way more offensive (yet still hilarious). I don't quite understand why people feel the need to be butthurt. If anything, defending the dirty priests basically promotes their pedophilia.

3

u/TheCanadianEmpire Oct 04 '18

Wait wait, Bill Donahue, the guy from the Easter bunny episode, is a real person?

3

u/TheRedmanCometh Oct 04 '18

So okay I think we can safely say a large part of the victim mentality certain people in the USA have is rooted in Christianity.

3

u/gtsrider9 Oct 05 '18

They are going for the jugular this season and I'm loving it. People just cant handle the truth
