And I remember Obama doing poorly in the first debate with Romney, and all the panicking online afterwards.

I urge you to take a look at Obama’s performance in that and then Biden’s yesterday and evaluate if the two are comparable.

Democrats don’t seem to get it. Joe Biden is one of the worst candidates in American history. It just so happens that his opponent is just a good bit worse

Same for Clinton. She was just a hair worse and she lost. Trump’s fan base is more fired up than ever.

Are they though? I’m still extremely nervous about this election, but as someone from the south with a lot of rural friends, I don’t see nearly the same energy as I did in 2020, let alone 2016. It seems like Trump has only shaken off supporters over the last 8 years. The remaining faithful are stuck to him like glue, but a lot of the supporters I knew have either flipped or become apolitical.
