Other quotes from Trump about Hillary:

“We could very well have a sitting president under felony indictment and ultimately a criminal trial,” Trump said at the rally. “It would grind government to a halt.”

“If she were to win, it would create an unprecedented Constitutional crisis that would cripple the operations of our government,” he said. “She is likely to be under investigation for many years, and also it will probably end up – in my opinion – in a criminal trial. I mean, you take a look. Who knows? But it certainly looks that way.”

“She has no right to be running, you know that,”

Dementia festering nowadays, though it probably started back then.

I watched the Ric Burns New York docuseries not too long after the election. There’s a segment where a voice was talking about about skyscrapers and building on NYC’s foundations, set over images of buildings. When it cut to his talking head and I realised it was Trump speaking, I was astonished. Back then he was able to speak quite smoothly and with more apparent intelligence than I would’ve given him credit for knowing him largely only from politics.

It's sooooo good. Especially the parts on Jane Jacobs and Robert Moses and all the highway related stuff. I went down so many rabbit holes after watching that series.

There’s a segment where a voice

I remembered that, and I've seen people link it quite a few times recently. It's stunning how much word salad comes out of his mouth compared to earlier in life. His brain is mush at this point, whether it's dementia, drugs, STDs, or some combo...jfc

It's sooooo good.

It's funny - I've watched a lot of Ric's work, and I've watched a ton of his (apparently estranged) brother Ken's series. I feel like smushed together they'd make a perfect documentarian, but separately, Ric is far too dry and Ken is far too sentimental. I learn a lot from Ric's movies but they feel longer than they are. Ken's movies fly by but are nowhere near as well researched or historically accurate.

  • "You remember, 2016, what year that was, right?"
  • "In some cases, [immigrants are] not people."
  • "Congratulations, the late, great Hannibal Lecter."
  • "I was hot as a pistol. I think I’m hotter than I am now and I became president."
  • "I know the smart ones, I know the dumb ones, I know the killers, I know the weak ones, I know them all. And you’re going to see."
  • "Viktor Orban, the Prime Minister of Hungary, very tough man, probably the toughest guy there is frankly, toughest in Europe. A lot of people don’t like him because he’s tough. He says, 'I don’t want to have criminals in my country if that’s okay with you.' They asked him, 'What’s going on with the world? What’s happening?'"

How could you suggest his speaking skills have waned?!

"I was hot as a pistol. I think I’m hotter than I am now and I became president."

"I was gigantic. I was bigger than I am now and I'm all grown up."

he wasn't as crazy before he lost. He was always an idiot, said mean shit, and was a bit crazy. Yet after he lost he went full on nutjob and it has gotten worse the past 4 years. It is a narcissistic collapse. No matter the outcome of the election he is either going to hit a breaking point from losing again or will turn into a the worst monster this country has ever seen completely hell bent on revenge while using the presidency to destroy democracy. Neither one is any good and it is all because we have non stop disinformation fed to morons. Trump should be a crazy billionaire yelling at clouds while playing golf. Instead he may destroy everything we hold dear.
