I’ve had chronic sinusitis since I was a kid and it got to the point that I was constantly blowing out mucus, which also came with a bad breath/smell. After seeing many doctors and doing several MRI/CT scans, I was finally diagnosed with having a foreign object in my nose. The septoplasty ultimately corrected my deviated septum and removed this piece of metal that was a centimetre long… till this day, I have no clue how this got so far back my nose.

I got this removed today, couldn't believe it was actually in there. I convinced myself it didn't happen.

They rode on my window for a couple miles then groom themselves. I learned they have tongues.

I recently went to an airway orthodontist where I was looking to expand my palate to increase my airway. In doing so my orthodontist did an MRI of my airway and pointed out an object in my nose. I immediately knew this was an eraser I stuck up my nose when I was 8 years old, it was up there for 20 years. I never had any issues with infection, my ent was very surprised about that. For those of you that are gonna ask how, I grew up extremely poor here in the US so no insurance ever and basically I never had complications so I never said anything as a kid and as an adult I’d just forgotten about it until I started developing sleep apnea and looked into fixing my air way I thought it was either my septum or narrow palate, turn out to be an eraser and a severely deviated septum on the other nostril. I finally got the septoplasty and eraser removed this past March it’s been great breathing like most people do.

I know it probably isn’t supposed to have the science tag but idk what else to put.

After a sleepless weekend of my head pulsating, I scheduled a dentist appointment.

Turns out you can get infection pouches at the end of your teeth roots. In my case it grew so big it reached out to another tooth.

Dentist says the infection formed YEARS ago when I got this tooth filled in my teens. Only now my immunity gave way to it and allowed it to grow.
