Average dinner check: $21.90
I guess what we learn today is that Olive Garden remains an affordable dinner destination.
107 u/SuperBigMak Nov 19 '22 That’s per guest. I would say $20 per person is average 40 u/suddenly_space_jam Nov 19 '22 For a sit down dinner? 64 u/mrgarbagepig Nov 19 '22 At olive garden absolutely 3 u/suddenly_space_jam Nov 19 '22 But that was the original point… Olive Garden is affordable. Then saying $20 is average for any dinner location just isn’t true. 4 u/BigHardThunderRock Nov 19 '22 Yeah, $20 gets you like a burger and fries at Five Guys. lol 1 u/[deleted] Nov 19 '22 Are you saying $20 is high or low for an average? 6 u/BigHardThunderRock Nov 19 '22 It's low. Especially considering that every place is jacking their prices. 2 u/[deleted] Nov 19 '22 I guess my city is cheap, I can easily eat at most sit down restaurants for < $20 6 u/ProgramTheWorld Nov 19 '22 It’s a Olive Garden not a 5 star hotel buffet 1 u/AgtCoopr Nov 19 '22 A 5-star hotel buffet sounds kinda gross right now. I think I want the breadsticks. 7 u/fusionsofwonder Nov 19 '22 If you don't order the $4 soda or any alcohol. 3 u/Palilabird Nov 19 '22 I guess that explains why avg lunch takeout is so high. They must assume one person per order.
