I’m in Arizona and we had a tiny bark scorpion just yesterday. Upstairs. Walking in a circle. We squashed it. I didn’t have the heart to tell my husband we are lucky we found it on the carpet not falling from the ceiling. I pray he never finds out the hard way that scorpions love to climb.
Trees too. My uncle used to have a few palm trees in his backyard. He had no idea these little fuckers love trees (hence the name) and will set up home inside them.
After one particular strong thunderstorm, a few dozen of them were knocked out of one of the trees and into the pool, the patio, the grass. They were everywhere.
