Looks like Frank Reynolds

u/Chief_Givesnofucks 3d ago
He’s getting weird with it.

u/EventualOutcome 2d ago
I picture 2 strangers alone in an, otherwise, empty theater. And this is where op chooses to sit.

Can't be him because he's not eating them out of his shirt pocket. Why get your hands all greasy when he can let the shirt do the work?

Holy shit. That guys blood must be pure sodium and burps at this point
12
u/UltG 2d ago
Let’s how he doesn’t rip one in the theater. Or it’ll be SpongeBob after eating that sundae all over again

So wait.. based on the lighting, the movie hasn’t even started yet.. he cruised through his first pack before the previews even started?!

Don’t act like you’ve never ate 75% of your bag of popcorn before the movie even started

He definitely smells like Iike hot dog water
2
u/Dat1Neyo 2d ago
That’s all I can think about. It must smell awful in there. Wait. Theater. Hopefully they’re pumping those popcorn smells in there on high!
7
u/Lemmonjello 2d ago
I was going to defend this guy saying "maybe they are European weiners" which are pretty good cold but this is unforgettable
3
u/Cowboywizzard 2d ago
Vienna sausages? I'm popping a can right now
3
u/wjean 2d ago
I haven't had those in 30 years and I can still omagine the meally texture in my mouth along with the gel.
Definitely one of those foods I wonder why I ever ate as a kid.
4
u/LunarProphet 2d ago
Yeah they always kinda weirded me out and I'm far from a picky eater.
The BBQ ones went hard as a kid though for sure

How do you know they're cold?
26
u/the_d00m_song 2d ago
OP just needs to reach over his shoulder make eye contact and firmly grab the package
12
u/Cowboywizzard 2d ago
Exactly. He probably smuggled them in his pants, so they are likely body temperature

This guy is eating a packet of hotdogs at a movie theatre. Idk if he cares about hygienic standards.
9
u/fucklockjaw 2d ago
Do you think he would at least wipe his hammies off on the belly portion of his shirt before using his phone or just go whole hog and smear the juices all over the screen?
5
u/goodtimesinchino 2d ago
He looks like a gentleman, so, he probably cleaned his grubby paws on the chair.

Was at a theater once as a teenager, I woman came in and sat one row ahead of me. As the previews were playing she reached into her purse and pulled out a plastic tube bag of chocolate chip cookie dough... Peeled it like a banana and ate the entire thing... When she finished she reached into her purse and pulled out another one... I have no idea what the movie was but I'll never forget that...
94
u/Lord-Velveeta 3d ago
Well, they’re already cooked when you buy them, but still… eww!
27
u/imalittleC-3PO 2d ago
Really not that bad tbh. Not like a prefered method of eating hot dogs but I've been poor and hungry.
12
u/MrStealY0Meme 2d ago
I use to eat them as a kid. I guess I thought it was okay because they use to have hot dog luncheables. Wasn't bad, never got sick or anything, as all was precooked.
8
u/gracecase 2d ago
I used to eat them cold when I was a kid too.It was always a quick snack, so I could go back outside and play.
Till this day, I still take a piece of cheese and cold cuts, squirt a little mustard on it and consider that a snack.
2
u/recklessrider 2d ago
That's a mini breadless sandwhich. It would be normal on a charcuterie plate.

Americans don't eat Wiener sausages cold? They're better warm of course, but eating them cold is quite normal. Or are American sausages just that gross in general that you can't eat them cold?
16
u/BeneficialQuarter426 2d ago
I watched a man do this around a grocery store once and then put the empty packet with hot dog juice going everywhere on the conveyor belt. I miss living in LA sometimes.

Once saw a guy eating an entire thing of baked beans in a theater. It was the middle of the day so there was no one else there but him and me. I bet he thought he was gonna be able to eat his beans and not be judged. As I was leaving I saw a car parked in a handicap spot at the front that just had half a bottle of ranch in the cup holder. I was like “I bet that’s bean guys car”

A cheap hotdog is nearly exactly like cheap bologna. Different shape. Same shit.
13
u/Guilty_Storage_9652 2d ago
Cost of living these days. Guy just busted his ass at work now just wants to be full and watch a movie no problem with that
4
5
u/Basic_Quantity_9430 2d ago
If you have ever eaten bologna, roughly the same flavor and mouth feel. I have eaten one or two raw hotdogs, but prefer them cooked, because I like the natural casing hotdogs.

Once I witnessed a group of guys come in to a mostly empty theater and several of them pulled out hidden sandwich items. One guy had a loaf of bread, another pulled out some mustard, there were a few other condiments floating around as well as a pack of what I assume was some sort of turkey or other deli meat. They proceeded to set up some sort of sandwich making line and just continued to eat them throughout the film. I spent more time watching this play out than the actual film and was actually almost a little angry at how genius it felt at the time.

I know it's pretty gross to most people, but I have a weird quirk/ritual that involves taking a bite off the end of a "raw" hot dog before I heat it up. Actually tastes good, and the cold, fatty texture isn't terrible.

That's fucking weird dude, hopefully they're at least room temperature or better yet body temperature from him smuggling them in.
Still taking pictures discreetly and putting him on blast for living his weird life is equally fucking weird and creepy. Leave the hotdog enthusiast alone.

I used to buy a packet of sliced ham, and some cheese, then cut the cheese into cubes, and put those and some ham slices in a little tupperware box that could fit in my inside jacket pocket. It was quite nice.
