Imagine people thinking that “sitting this one out” is actually ok and not a big deal? What universe are these people living in?

They happen to think they're really smart for not being sheeple fooled into thinking this matters. Lol

Sitting this one out is a vote against democracy.

Honestly, people who think they should sit out because they don't have a good grasp of the situation are far less harmful than the people who feel they have to get involved despite not really following politics or understanding what's going on.

Democracy can survive the former, I'm not so sure about the latter.

Not if trump wins it won't. Not in the US anyway.

The only reason Trump would win would be his army of loyal yet ignorant followers

Yeah but I generally consider them more educated and informed than the average republican

Democracy does not survive if people just stay home.

Depends on who stays home.

It's a rock and a hard place type situation. I've never had much love for Trump, but then again there's no way I can vote for Biden either, the dude simply isn't in there anymore. What else can someone do when they can't in good conscience contribute to either candidate winning?

It’s easy. One side wants to destroy democracy, the other side doesn’t. It isn’t that difficult.

Sounds like a conspiracy theory to me.

Some people are sick and tired of the status quo and having nobody they want to vote for. Every presidential election I can remember has had 2 terrible choices. At least one of them will burn shit to the ground this time. Be careful with the “get out and vote” thing. Not everyone is ok limping along forever.

I don't like limping. But if it's keep limping or get eaten by the leopards eating faces, I'm gonna keep limping
