Trump's justice department wouldn't do any better.  It's the justice department, it does not benefit them to go half-cocked on anything when our legal system is intentionally weighted towards the defendant.  And remember that when the verdict (it lack there of) comes down in the New York trial.

Just remember, Trump and Project 2025 want to fire ANYONE from the federal government and FBI that is not loyal to Trump if he gets back in power. It will be a one-party rule and they’ll do anything Trump wants or they’ll get fired too (if not worse).

He wants all power consolidated under him when he’s president.
