Insanely jealous that you'll get to watch Archer for the first time and all the seasons are out, when i started watching i only could binge the first 5 seasons

Just like in the movies! You are outgunned but should run towards them so they can grab it away from you. Also, hold it under your bicep and not at your shoulder.

She would have hurt herself more than the “robbers” if she had fired it. ARs don’t kick that much but it’s enough to hurt if it’s not at your shoulder.

On one hand, brave, on the other hand, incredibly risky and kind of dumb. In a slightly different world she gets lit up the moment she turns the corner

What a confusing way to use words. Are you refuting something? What do you mean "not her"?

It’s mostly slang talk.. but in this situation I am saying it in agreement and validating her running after them in admiration. Usually when people say “not __” is meant to be somewhat of a joke.. mocking the funny moment but also agreeing with the action itself.. is hard to explain but I’m glad over 500 got it 😭

Not her what?

And an actual fucking moron.

Im not gunna argue about if what she did was right or wrong. She did it and they fucked off and she protected this guy. Im not discounting that.

But what kind of fucking idiot chases like that?

Why in gods name would you chase them though a doorway they have the angle on.

Just let them leave.

What’s with this trend of people starting sentences with “not me” or “not her” or “not whatever”? It doesn’t make any sense

1

u/RunningOnAir_ 4d ago

It's just slang and a meme format. It means "no way she actually did xxx"

She should have shot them. Stand your ground has her back.

u/TheIVJackal 5d ago

They could have shot her, the BF, and any other innocent people in the area. It just so happened to work out in their favor here, this was extremely risky.

Guns are good deterrents, just like nuclear arms. Most people don't want to use them, just a few. Just because you can doesn't mean you should.

Two guys holding guns to your partners head? I’d say that’s as justified a time as any to blast them. But seeing how she held it she was 100% taking the deterrent route.
