quote Time travel agent episode?

Which episode has Max tell Penny the only agent she needs is a time-travel agent to take her back to when there were travel agents?

Bitch it is 5:30! Best part of a rewatch

On a rewatch - just got to the episode (S02E16) and I’d forgotten it was this episode. I’ll never forget the howls of laughter first time I saw it and the instant rewind and watch again and again.

My daughter (nearly 2) recently went through a phase of waking at 5:30 and it was made slightly easier by saying it to myself. (Obviously not to her, she’s at the age she’ll parrot everything).

[S3E14 - The Incident] I love that in the scene with RuPaul as a hairdresser, “Ordinary Extraordinary Love” was playing in the background. lol.

What is going on with this podcast?

I’m enjoying the interviews.

But the production value is pretty terrible - Zach’s episode had him hard to hear and the ads are wildly different volumes. It seems like these interviews are from years ago - they mentioned Eliza’s show Pivoting that had one season in 2022, Zach’s show was cancelled last year. Plus they keep mentioning that they’ve interviewed all these other people before the actors but they’ve never aired those.

I just don’t really understand what the goal is. I know they call it barely a podcast, but did they just bank every interview for years and were like now is a good time to release them?

I started listening to the Happy Endings podcast that Casey and Adam are producing together. It's phenomenal! They talk to the writers creators, even the exec. that canceled them. It's all silly light hearted jokes for a a very niche group of fans...all of us. I love listing to how stuff's made, from writers, directors, to producers and this does not disappoint, even elevates my love for the show. Check it out.

Episode 21 - Kickball The Kickening

Alex signs the gang up to participate in the Northside Kickball Classic tournament. However, self-appointed manager Max has a struggle on his hands.

Episode 22 - Four Weddings and a Funeral (Minus Three Weddings and One Funeral)

The gang find themselves at yet another wedding, this time the nuptials of Derrick (Stephen Guarino) and Eric (Nate Smith). Will there be "DRAMA", to quote Derrick? Of course, as Brad struggles to tell Jane something important; Jane tries to find a way to help Eric hide the fact that the pricey reception must be down-scaled; and Max tries to find the courage to perform with his old all-male Madonna cover band. Meanwhile, a dateless Penny is sad that she's at another wedding alone, until she meets a cute guy (Brian Austin Green) via Skype.

EDIT - they all appeared yesterday

Why didn’t Alex and Dave or Penny and Pete ask max to officiate their wedding, but Brad and Jane and Shershow and Melinda did.

  • Barefoot Pedaler
  • Blax, Snake, Home
  • Yesandwitch

Just re-watched the Zoom episode like 10 mins ago.

This show can do another 3 more seasons and I'm sure the episodes will be 8/10 and above. Such clever and witty writing 🤌

How they managed to tackle our fave jokes from the season 1-3 run is just perfect!! ("Let me back up" "I've seen Jane as a monster! Exactly like when Charlize played that monster in the movie Bombshell" 😆 "Dramaaaa" etc.. Really hope we get one last season.

If Dexter came back after 10 years, I have hope we can have our Happy Endings happy ending.

\*I apologize for not including visuals but this week has been insane***

Episode 17 - Cocktails & Dreams:

When Dave gets a license to serve alcohol from the `Steak Me Home Tonight' truck, it suddenly becomes the most fashionable place to socialize in Chicago. He thinks his friends are avoiding him because they're jealous of his newfound fame, but there's another reason: his signature drink, an old-fashioned cocktail, is having a very strange effect on everyone's dreams.

Episode 18 - The Kerkovich Way

A panic-stricken Alex tries to convince Dave that they never spent the night together, enlisting Jane's help in constructing an alibi for herself but causing enormous confusion for Brad. In the end, one tiny detail lets them down and their story begins to unravel. Meanwhile, Penny and Max take part in an urban scavenger hunt and become determined to beat Julie and Justin.

New season?

Possibly controversial opinion incoming. I kind of don't want another season. I loved the show when it was on. I think ABC execs should be tried for war crimes for letting it fail. (Or causing its failure? Drama!) I just feel like we've been burned too many times with reboots or sequels that are too far past their sell-by date. I welcome any disagreement or discussion.

Proper Production Order Re-Watch. 📺😄

I had been meaning to watch all three seasons in its proper production order for years.

Finally got around to it over the weekend. Watching all the seasons, especially season one, in the order that they were written, and shot was so enjoyable. It flowed so much better.

Has anyone else endeavoured to watch one or all of the seasons in their proper order? And if you did, what were your thoughts? :)
