But none of the women in those shows are fat. Men have one size: "male". Women have two sizes: "female" and "fat". A "male" sized man and a "female" sized woman are compatible, it's only when you have a "male" sized man and a "fat" sized woman do you enter the "mixed-weight" territory. /s

The writer is actually just commenting on the backlash the pairing got, not saying that “mixed weight” couples shouldn’t be seen on screen (they’re saying the opposite actually)
