Cavs make it official with new head coach Kenny Atkinson

“I am thrilled and honored to be named head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers,” said Atkinson. “This is an incredible opportunity to lead an already talented young roster with an equally bright future. I’ve seen firsthand and had to prepare for this group as an opposing coach, and the task was not easy. I’m so excited to now be on this side of the ledger to help continue moving this team forward.”

One small thing that I like about this hire is that just about every instance I see Atkinson, he has a clipboard in his hand. I guess we’ll find out how well he can use it, but I feel like I rarely ever saw JB using that magically piece of plastic.

I think its cool that he is a part of the French national team. This might be the most talented french team ever assembled too. Should been ever scarier the next two Olympics as well. France just had 3 guys drafted in the top6, with them going 1 &2 in the draft. Mix with wemby.
