Xbox hasn't had an exclusive game nominated to the Game Awards for 10 years now. :Discussion: Discussion

Microsoft’s not really interested in exclusives. They want a large game catalog they control with access from any device via subscription. It expands their addressable market beyond consoles and makes the need for big dollar exclusives less impactful.

They absolutely are. They are pretending they aren't so they can lower expectations while they try to build up and offer it again. They're managing expectations so they don't look stupid but make no mistake.

Yet every game is dropping day one on steam? Yes yes they own windows I get it but still what's the point for Xbox users?

My system was dirt cheap and I can play games with my buddy on PC.

Yea fair point lol. Reason why I bought it then a PC.

But my point remains if Xbox cares so much about exclusivity, why put ur games on steam. Literally no one said they had to do it to compete..

They do get unlucky sometimes like it's hilarious to me that they got Quantum Break which ended up being essentially the tech demo for Control which wasn't exclusive and was way more popular.
