I read on another thread that game sizes could still be smaller than current ones because current ones require file duplication to speed up loading times. Since ssds don't require this, 512 gb should hold a bit more than it does currently

At the very least, you hopefully won't have to download and store the 4K textures on the Series S, so the same game won't have the same install size on both the Series S and Series X.

Yes, that's also what I'm thinking. The 512GB drive on the S may end up storing more games than the 1TB drive on the X.
