They fucked up the performance bad by forcing 4k 60fps a year ago. I tried jumping in after about 2 years and It felt like I was getting an unstable 40-50FPS just building my camp in the middle of nowhere in the Toxic Valley.
It’s funny because the Fallout 4 next gen update won’t even be 4K 60FPS, because they know it would be too unstable.
Edit: Downvoting doesn’t change the fact that the game performs worse than it did when FPS Boost was an option.
You're right. I tried to play yesterday for the first time in a few years. It was actually giving me a headache. It also seems like there's really bad screen tear, too
