This generation has been underwhelming Discussion

I bought a Series X at launch, and can’t think of a single game that has impressed me this gen. I’m a big Halo fan, and Halo Infinite felt like a letdown. I’m a Forza fan, and Forza Motorsport felt like a massive disappointment. I was exited for Starfield, but was underwhelmed after playing it.

It just feels like we’ve had no heavy hitters this gen, even 3rd party AAA games have been average at best. I guess the only hope I have left is with Gears 6, but aside from that, Microsoft needs to get their act together and start releasing some new games. It feels like games are taking way too long to make these days, we used to get bangers every year in the 360 gen. Even the Xbox One had more compelling games than what we have now

Cyberpunk, baldurs gate 3, starfield, Harry potter, and Diablo 4 were all games me and my wife really enjoyed last year. There are big games coming out, they just might not be appealing to you

Starfield and ESO for me! Fantastic games with lots of fun and I can't wait till the content drops for Starfield! The gameplay loop with my Star Jumper ship was oddly addicting lol!

Bgs usually impresses me with their dlc. I'm curious to see what shattered space adds to the game.

I really want to retry eso. I played it years ago and they've added so much since launch. I'm not an mmo guy, but tamriel is one of my favorite fantasy settings and I'd love to play an es game I don't have completely memorized lol

Nows the best time! This year has been event after event and weekend boosts too! Plus, buying the latest pack with all expansions included is a great deal! Personally, I'm having a lot of fun lately and I've been on and off player. Some of the content is ok, other times it can be some great stuff!

Pro tip, get someone to craft you Heartland Conquerer training gear and weapons. The 5 set bonus increases weapon trait effectiveness by 100%. Throw that on with a weapon and boom 36% extra exp combined with all training traits on your gear will skyrocket you past the levels!
