Unless they start going all in on developing cities and locations on a handful of planets, I can't see it lasting.

I was excited for the game but the reception killed my hype. Exploring generated barren landscapes with copy paste locations gets old fast.

It also needs major rework/expansion of most of it's mechanics, some new juice to the base gameplay loop, more characters, dynamic world interactions and few other major things.
