Shout out to the Mauler twins. They’ve really grown on me since episode 1. Much different than brick villains you typically see in comics. THEORY

My favorite arc is the one where, because of facial scarring, they definitively know who the "original" is and he promptly becomes master to the other twin... until he is poisoned.

I dont think they do. I think they know who woke up on what side of the beds.
I think they both know theyre clones, but the "no im the real one" is just a huge part of the relationship they have as 'brothers'
Theyre super smart, i dont think theyre actually confused.

I thought that aswell. Like they knew that it would be stupid to truly bicker and fight about it, so the transition being 'seemless' means both feel like the original, instead of one feeling like a 'clone'. Allows them to work together better.

It was a futile attempt to not dilute the pool, every copy is from the masters, per se. Trying to avoid a Planescape Torment thing i guess.

That's what I'm referring to, they lose their memory leading up to the cloning so neither one knows who the original is.

Yeah, its not only a conscious cloning device but also a transferring device. Mauler explains it to robot. So even if you were the "original" body you could be the cloned personality.

It took a couple of listens before I realized that Holy Fuck is the band name and Tom Tom is the song name, not the other way around.

Mines at the very end. Episode 7 is Eve vibing “Try to laugh, at the joke” some classic nihilistic semi motivational zoomer music, immediately cuts to Debby confronting Nolan.
Actual sound track is probably “Hate to Say I Told You So”

That song from episode 7 is called I Like Myself (Most Of The Time) by K.Flay. Great song, great artist, I love her music so much

Each prior invasion and fight samples the song, if you didn't notice. It was slowly introducing the song, some beats, some hints of the lyrics etc. That's why it's so damn satisfying when they play the whole thing at the end

Technically, one of all identical twins is a clone.
The cloning process generally happens naturally, and only a few days into the pregnancy.

Think Bebop and Rocksteady. Big beefy boys who knock down doors for the Big Bad, but dont have long-term plans for evil themselves.
Above a henchman, but below The Inner Circle
