I’m Simon Racioppa, showrunner for the Invincible series on Prime Video. AMA! AMA

Hey Reddit, happy Invincible Friday. Heard you wanted to chat about the show, so I’m here to answer as many questions as I can without spoiling where all of this is going. I wrote Episode 7, so this is a particularly special week for me, and have enjoyed reading all of your reactions so far.

And here’s the Invincible trailer: https://youtu.be/-bfAVpuko5o

Let’s do this!

EDIT: Thanks everyone! Your support makes all the hard work over the last few years worthwhile – for me, and everyone else who worked on Season one of Invincible during a very strange and difficult last year. Hope to be back here sometime soon!

How do you handle such a star studded voice cast fr

I mean, what’s to handle? Hire amazing actors and let them do their thing!

And somehow keep from fanboying out.

I may have actually squealed hearing Michael Dorn as Battle Beast. The casting has been so pitch perfect. To build on the last question, did you face any difficult casting decisions because of Covid? Do you think it might be difficult to get someone like Dorn back to do BB?

Is Battle Beast that one who opened a can of whoop ass? I want a series just following him around lmao

In the comics, I think around issue 120, Kirkman joked about pivoting to Battlebeast being the main character of Invincible.

Yes he is, and I agree.
