I’m Simon Racioppa, showrunner for the Invincible series on Prime Video. AMA! AMA

Hey Reddit, happy Invincible Friday. Heard you wanted to chat about the show, so I’m here to answer as many questions as I can without spoiling where all of this is going. I wrote Episode 7, so this is a particularly special week for me, and have enjoyed reading all of your reactions so far.

Were you a fan of Invincible the comic before you started working on the show?

I was – though I wasn’t up to date on it. I had read about half of the trades when I was asked to develop the show, so I quickly re-read those and then caught myself up with everything else. And just as I was getting started, Robert was finishing the run, so I was reading those last few issues in real time, same as everyone else.

At this rate even if everything goes smoothly the series still isn't finished in 2025.

I meant the show adaption, that the comics has so much content that even if we get a season every year it won't be quite done yet if they don't make significant cuts.
