Okay, we all remember that scene where Atom Eve fixes that screwed up plot of land, turning it into a public park. And then it gets revealed later that it was on unstable land? Call me crazy, but shouldn’t her powers fixed the stability? I mean she was literally rewriting the atoms of the land. Why wouldn’t it make the ground stable?

Problem was deeper than just a few feet, like a sinkhole. She didn't know it was even there, rushed the job and tragedy happened. Its not something you need to linger on, its perfectly reasonable even in the universe with powers.
