If he didn't bumrush Omniman and attack him on his lonesome that one particular moment and instead stuck to playing defense, that entire battle would've definitely gone down differently.

Really shows how disoriented the group was at the ambush, if they had more time to think and strategize they have beat Omni-man.
Even with the ambush Omni-man barely won the fight.

He broke Omni Manās suit but didnāt do much else otherwise. The most damage done was when Martian was holding him in place and War Woman and Immortal were wailing on him.

I disagree, red rush caused Nolan to spit up blood, and a ton of obvious bruising. I think given where martian man was wrapped around him when war woman and immortal were beating him, red rush was the source of most of Nolans broken ribs.

Green Ghost would be a powerhouse with her powers especially for whatās to come next and War Woman is extremely strong. Probably around immortal level. Red Rush doesnāt really stand out when every single Viltrumite is faster

You hype up War Woman by placing her at around Immortals strength level, when Immortal notiously keeps getting his shit wrecked by Viltrumites throughout the series.
...Yet downplay Red Rush's speed in contrast to Viltrumites when we clearly see him being faster than Nolan, who is definitely conciderably above average for a Viltrumite.
I can see some argument for Green Ghost's utility, but comparing her contribution when fighting an opponent on Nolan's level against Red Rush she clearly fails to make an impact. Evidently, reflexes fast enough to phase before being hit by a fast opponent isn't in her skillset. Any other fast opponent should be able to take her out in one swift blow as well, before she has a chance to do anything meaningful.

Red Rush, if he had focused more on defense with helping the rest of the members avoid Omni-Manās attacks similar to in the beginning of the fight. They wouldāve easily cooked him eventually,

yeah i feel like they were so thrown off by his sudden attack they forgot to act as a team and moreso acted like they were just fighting together which does make sense bc it was very clear life or death, but i feel like that mentality lead them to be easily picked off one by one

Iāve only seen the show, but I agree with your take. The shock that Omni-Man would attack them had them on their heels and then once he got the first kill in they were all acting on pure emotion and not thinking straight.

Itād be cool if omniman still lives but so do like 60% of the guardians, maybe aquarius and someone else die, omniman realises despite killing two of them heās still very overwhelemed by the combined power of his own son and the rest of them, so he flies right through the wall and passes out in the middle of nowhere

Red Rush was the actual legit MVP of that fight and is shown to be faster than a Viltrumite so Iād absolutely pick him, even if only to use him as EVAC against them. Everyone else got bodied pretty easily.

Darkwing. I really like the design of his suit and wouldāve liked to see what he and Night Boy got up to in Midnight City. Iāve also wondered what his backstory was, was he fully like Batman (billionaire, tragic past, has an Alfred, secret cave, etc.) or was he different? Personally Iād say itās the latter, heck I even made my own head cannon as to why the only vehicles weāve ever seen him use fly is because heās playing off the āWingā part of his name. Weāve never seen or heard anything about any āWingmobileā or āWingcycleā so itās a cool possibility.
All that being said tho I donāt know how long heād keep living afterwards seeing as heās the man whoās āmasterā strategy to fight the literal strongest man on the planet was to jump downward flailing his arms around like an infant then gets swung around like a bag of potatoes until he gets his head burst like a water balloonššš

I don't know who I'd pick, green ghost should have, I mean their power is becoming immaterial, no reason she should of ever materialized fully.
I think the Martian would have the most impact, the sequid storyline likely would of been a wash if he was around. He would of noticed the fake astronaut and so knows what that would have changed

Darkwing, he survives by simply not going to the alert or sending a drone / hologram. Omni-man manages to destroy the drone before he can get any good info out. Darkwing goes into hiding knowing he's a potential target.
He works with Cecil from the shadows to draw out Omni-man and comes after Mark a few times making it look like he's trying to kill him when in reality he's training him to be able to deal with Omni-man.

Excellent question! I would select the war woman or speedster. They seemed to have the most interesting personalities out of the whole group. I'm sure they could have helped more throughout the series if they lived.

War Woman, Green Ghost, and Red Rush are the top candidates.
War Woman would have been an interesting leader for the new Guardians. She would have almost certainly have died fighting Omniman again during his rampage in episode 7 though, although her plus the Immortal where Omniman doesn't have the element of surprise might have been a really close-run affair.
Green Ghost as other have mentioned has a powerset that makes her very useful in certain situations. She could have made the fight against the Lizard League a lot easier.
Red Rush makes the fights against the Flaxans a lot easier. He probably also helps big time in tiring out Omniman--potentially enough to where Immortal or Mark could take him down.

Eg: Red Rushās wife is heavily grieving, Darkwingās apprentice went crazy and attacked Mark, Fishmanās kingdom, and Green Ghostās husband meeting Debbie.

Green Ghost. Mostly cause Iām gay and sheās cute, but also just because I like her power set and would have loved to see more of what she does. Maybe she vanished for a while after her friends died, and reemerged a few years later when sheās not mourning as much.

Red Rush no doubt. Due to his speed and perception, RR is canonically one of the smartest humans on the planet. I think him teaming up with robot in a Reed Richardās / Tony Stark type relationship would have been very cool to see.

Same for Darkwing and his sidekick
We learned more about Martians and manhunter with shape smith

lot of people saying Red Rush - I think thatās not a good idea. Narratively his death moved so much of the story and the characters, it was important. I think Warwoman because she seemed like an actual character with interesting elements, and her power set was still impressive.

The Wonder Woman type character, she seems like she could at least damage Omni man. Red rush is fast but I donāt think it really matters ultimately. The green girl is nice but with the way she utilizes her powers I donāt think she will really do anything of significance, honestly.

HM: Aquarius- Depends on if his people or his wife also have his powers and that wasnāt just something of his

Green Ghost- husband is still alive and he was the green ghost during the time of the atom eve special just needs to get those pill things
Martian Man- is just a martian just depends if every martian has the same powers, but from that snippet of him we see that they would probably have to train heavily to get to his level of shape shifting and stretching

Red rush would've been the most helpful in the long term. If bro was a coward and dipped off rip he definitely would've survived but idk how much that would've really changed things. I like War women too but I think she wouldn't have been useful or powerful enough in the long-term for the show.
