Could any character in the show survive a hydrogen bomb or nuclear bomb? COMIC SPOILERS

I think Viltrumites have a chance only thing is the high sound emitted from the nuclear bomb would hurt them right? For Immortal he could probably survive a nuke with some burns but hydrogen bomb might take him out for good

If omni man couldn't survive a nuke then Cecil would have dropped one on him.

Does Cecil have the authority to unilaterally launch nuclear weapons???

Was Omni-Man even in the states the whole time during that sequence? Launch a nuke at a foreign country seems like a bad idea. Then again they were able to do the laser thing so I guess its fine.
