Reminds of that episode of Buffy that always annoyed me when she had The Watchers by the bollocks and negotiates a salary for Giles

... But not herself...

Like she's the one doing all the work while he occasionally says they all need to read some books.

She'd be a lot more effective at her job if she didn't need to work fast food.

I get being a superhero for money might kind of ruin the hero bit for some people

But it's not like that need much just about the same they'd get if they were doing a different job.
