I'm gonna say it.

If keeping Mark and Amber going was necessary for that Anissa scene, it was worth it. Jesus fuck that was tense. And the falling action afterwards with them just trying to figure out where to go from there, textbook storytelling.

Yeah, I was all: "Damn just break up already." Until 2 seconds later: "Oh, oh I see."

"Break them up already!"

"... No, no, wait, not like that."

"I hate this woman so much. Just break up already"

"HOLY FUCK IT'S ACTUALLY TENSE AND EMOTIONAL."

Why would you even hate her tbh she was so ok in s2, I just finished it and I don't get it. Also maybe bc I haven't read the comics but at this point of the show I do't understand why ppl ship Mark with Eve so much. From what we saw she's a good friend of course, but Mark's feelings for her were never something more, so why would he suddently feel something at the end of s2? I think now he's single he should stay like this in a while, he looks focused on different things it's weird for me to think that he would just directly go after someone else. But maybe bc I didn't read the comics (even tho they're qu'une different from the tv show)

It’s insightful, a lot of people, myself included at one point think like Mark did where if one thing is taken care of it’ll be smooth sailing onward. But sometimes things are fundamentally incompatible

As someone who tends to stay in a non-ideal situation for too long, trauma is indeed sometimes the only way to move forward.

Don't recommend.

Is it just one step away from fridging or is it actual real life consequences catching up?

I think them not ending it until it was well after we knew it had to end was a good writing touch, because let's be real that's how these things usually go in real life too. We never want to accept the reality in the hope there could be a chance to find a way.

nah man I really wanted them to stay together. They seem like what I think a real relationship is. Just two really mature individuals who go really well together.
