Eric Bauza absolutely NAILED D.A. Sinclair. There's a...slight difference but only just so; it's hardly noticeable.

I didn't know what you were talking about until I saw Ezra Miller did the voice in the first season lol.

I am so glad they dropped Miller, Eric Bauza is amazing.

It’s a shame that he had to replace the world’s best method actor though.

Good for the world though

That’s pretty fucked up to add OD to the world’s best meth actor.

I still can't believe Ezra Miller sliced up that family in Nebraska and stitched them back together in preparation for this role

How'd that guy even get elected District Attorney?

Sinclair started talking and I immediately pulled up credits to see if they were still employing Ezra Miller for this. It was a good replacement, voice wise. If they had dropped him, I would have almost expected them to just ask Chris Diamantopoulos or Ross Marquand to take another role.

Maybe someones noted it already but i think his jaw got dislocated last season, seems a pretty solid in-universe reason for a slight voice change

Holy shit I didnt even notice they got a new guy lol

They also replaced the boyfriend, but the new guy is a much better fit for a big jock than Groff was.

u/karateema Abraham Lincoln Mar 28 '24

He's also rebuilt, so it would make sense

in real life yes, but i actually really like jonathan groff's voice in animation

Well, he has the excuse of having his jaw dislocated.

I knew that voice sounded familiar. Eric Bauza is such a great VA.

If you weren't even aware of the actor switch, you wouldn't notice. It's awesome!

At first I was like "wow they really hired Ezra Miller back despite the... unpleasantness?" and then checked and was surprised.

Why tf is Eric Bauza amazing at imitating all these problematic voice actors with like 99% accuracy?

I think Bauza had that Looney Tunes-style delivery but it worked for a wacko like Sinclair.

Was so happy they replaced Ezra "hit people with a chair" Miller.
