I was worried about spoilers as I was loading up this page immediately after watching that scene but it didn't really matter since the first 4 top level comments were just about the meta stuff.

The first shot of the animator with his head down had me thinking "oh are they going to do a bit here" and then they definitely did. Had me laughing

I think what's especially great is there's a meta joke in the comic version in the same place about reusing panels due to time/efficiency/money. So the meta joke was still an adaption from the comics!

I don’t know how meta it is, the original joke in the c*mic is about lazy c*mic drawings so they translated it, I don’t think it’s inspired by the comments of show viewers.

Idk, the comments on most of the budget going towards the fights and cutting corners in other areas almost feels like a response to what people have commented about haha
