Trying to be with Rex again would be a mistake lol. And I don't even think Rex wants to be with her because he doesn't want to hurt her again. Also seems like Eve thinks Rex has done irreversible damage to their relationship, cheating on her MULTIPLE times.

Mark does care for her the way she does him, you just have to think about how much the guy has been through in like the past 6 weeks.

Eve has a lot on her plate but by the sound of it, is able to manage it. Mark has WAY WAY too much to be showing affection to anyone, even his girlfriend is suffering from it.

You forget he was tasked to take over the planet.

lol i don’t really want her back with rex it’s just that right now enjoy their scenes way more than with mark. i miss their season 1 dynamic. i guess i was just expecting something more like in the comics with them

You got downvoted but your right. Her scenes with him have been fire while this season her scenes with mark have fallen flat. The show is just not developing that side of them well enough to make me believe they should be together. While with rex you can easily read the subtext with the added scene of her bringing the mag's that she still likes him etc. So yea.

yeah thank you for understanding me. that is exactly what I meant by that. i love mark and eve and i want them together. but the lack of development and marks complete disregard of her have thrown me off a bit. i need solid build up before they get together and i am afraid it’s not going to happen and that they get together just because they both have powers and it makes sense. not good enough reason, sorry. in season 1 there wasn’t anything romantic between them but the connection was there and now they’re barely even friends. I don’t know that hospital scene just wasn’t it, i kinda hated mark there lol

Yea I think they are going to have them get together much later then the comics as I think they are going to give the breakup more reverence then in the comics. So MAYBE eve confesses her feelings at the end of s2e8 but I dont see them get together till after mark figures himself out which probably sometime late season 3. Hopefully by then they have a much better connection. Which is a shame as I really like mark and eve together in the comics too.

You’re not wrong, but Mark just isn’t in that place yet. I think we need to wait for them to actually get to that subplot before we start judging it 😅.
