Steven Yeun knocked it out of he fucking park this episode, the amount of raw emotion behind every word mark says to Nolan is just perfect

Same with JK Simmons. The power on these two actors is insane. Perfect casting.

Ironically I think it’s the relative lack of power for most of the episode that sells it - he seems…not quite soft spoken, but closer to that than in season 1, and it works. He’s trying to not care as much, to detach himself, and it’s only when he finally lets himself care and lashes out, that’s when Simmons goes full force.
