God I’m not looking forward to when this arc is animated. Not because I don’t think it’ll be handled well, I’m just not looking forward to the braindead takes I just know are going to spawn from people.

They’ll probably make her ugly or something to avoid that problem. Though honestly, they shouldn’t, people should be confronted with it and learn the difference, even if it’s only a teachable moment for a very small portion of misled-but-open-minded people.
