He's obviously a liar- he'd be dead by the time he got back, and he was lying about the meteors threatening his home. He was also lying about how he knew Mark's name (said it's spread across the galaxy, which I doubt since Allen JUST brought the info back, Nolan probably just the bug to bring Mark to him)

I thought he meant most of his life UP TO the point of meeting Mark. Like if you’re 26, and finished college at 22, you’ve been in school most of your life.

Ya that's what he meant. He was probably 2 days old when he was given the task to go get Mark

Oh damn I was wondering how what he said could be true, but you might be right

Could also have meant the round trip

They only live about 9 months, so roughly a total of 270 days, 6 days to and 6 days from, assuming he didnt spend time searching for mark means he spend 12 days out of the 270 total days his life makes up.

Its "only" about 5% of his lifetime, but thats comparable to a human average life span of 70 years still 3,5 years just to get Mark to their planet.

Its maybe not "most of his life" but its definitely a noticeable chunk of it.

Assuming the show Thraxans live the same time span their comic counterparts do.

He probably got lost or something because Thraxans are supposed to live around nine months.

He went to Urath when he should have gone to Earth

If we equate a 9 month lifespan to a 90 year lifespan for humans, that 6 day trip took him about two "years" of his own life

He has also proven himself to be a liar with that whole meteor excuse for getting Mark to Thraxa so it wouldn't surprise me if he embellished the whole 'lifelong journey' bit
