3 different episodes and 3 extremely different setups. Not sure how this is all gonna connect, with angstrom, lizard league, and now these bug people, but I’m all for it

This show is giving me Venture Bros. vibes with all the interconnected characters doing realistic/believable things in a superhero setting. Except less comedy and more action/drama. Absolutely loving it.

Was that really a spoiler though?

Could be anything from a long lost emperor of the viltrumites, to a random dude from a support group, to the name of a different dimension mark or the name Allan gave to his single testicle.

How the fuck is that a spoiler?

I can't remember what the comment says, as it has been deleted.

Either way, I didn't say what I said in anger or derision, I was just looking out for the folks who want no spoilers whatsoever: names, dates, locations, VA's, anything. I can respect that some people like to go in blind, and get the same experience that original comic readers got.

It mentioned a certain characters name that is also a pretty damn ordinary name.

Either way, you can just mark the spoiler. People can put things together easily through context clues, and done people don't want to have to gaslight themselves into believing what they read or think they read is a spoiler or not. It can ruin the tension for people, so i just respect it where i can

If people don't want to see spoilers, they shouldn't be here reading anything until they see the episode. I saw Endgame a week after it premiered and I purposely stayed away from anything that may have had spoilers.

It wasn't a spoiler for the episode - it was a spoiler for the comics which the TV series hasn't gotten to yet. So even if someone had seen the episode they could still have major plot points ruined for them.

This universe has a ridiculous amount of villains and characters to keep track of. Not all of them are huge setups, but they will most likely reoccur or just get straight up conclusions at some point.

I really hope we get a lot of seasons of this show because I can see that they’re setting up practically every character from the comics rather than focusing on a few. Hell, Debbie is getting more character development than she did in the comics. Love this adaptation.

Show Debbie has been such an upgrade over comic Debbie (though she found her footing later). Much more nuance and depth than before.

Not that different from season 1 with the maulers/omniman, the flaxans, and doc seismic in the first 3 episodes
