Great episode! Really enjoying the added content their giving to other characters. That Debbie part where she broke down and Mark consoled her….damn. And that part where Eve where she found out she didn’t help that much. Also really liked the jokes that were used. Mark’s cap being thrown accidentally, and they actually addressed the two guys that Darkwing 1 left on the roof in the first season. Funny stuff there!

Lots of great foreshadowing/set up with Cecil getting that sound intel from Mark’s battle in Atlantis. We all know that’s gonna be very important for later. Sequid invasion and lizard league battle are being set up, wonder when it’ll happen though. Can’t wait to see the Lizard League fight! I actually was thinking earlier that they were gonna show Angstrom gather intel on Mark, glad to see that was the case with the end credits

Starting to get questions brought up about Donald. Now as all of you comic readers know Donald is more machine than man, but I find it interesting how their playing this out in the show. This could be to further show how shady the GDA is, and maybe use this as another catalyst for Mark and Cecil’s falling out later. What do you guys think?

By Donald's reaction and questioning about Debbie I am puzzled as to whether or not the show Donald is aware he was blown to bits. They're hinting as if he's more of a clone with no memory of the house explosion

If I remember correctly in the Brit comics Donald also said that when he got blown up he didn’t know that he was a cyborg for a while at first. So they seem to just be playing it out in the show.

Makes sense considering he was killed off off screen in the comics so we never saw his original death while his death in the show was with Omniman. Now I'm curious if we're get to see his family life considering his wife also didn't knew about the incident and Donald was slowly regain his original personality. It also shows that Brit might not appear, so I'm curious how the next episode will play out.

(I'm guessing it's just Rex passing out after the fight and it's a squad of soldiers coming in to save him rather than Brit or maybe having Cecil handling things personally. I really hope that at least there's a substitute Brit if he doesn't appear in the show but I could be wrong).

Also guys another thing I started thinking about is where this season is gonna end. As you guys most likely noticed from the title card it looks like it’s slowly revealing Mark’s blue and black suit color scheme. So if that’s the case maybe season actually ends with issue 50 which was Mark and Cecil’s falling out. Do you guys think this will be the case?

I feel like that could be it. While a lot of people go with Mark meeting Mark or Mark killing Levy, I feel like the fallout between Mark and Cecil could be the true ending. Like have Mark meet his dad at the mid season finale where we see how much he had changed and start the plot of his Sci Fi novels, and the penultimate episode being Mark fighting Levy. While a lot of people wanted the "I thought you were stronger" scene to be in the final episode kinda like mirror the previous season finale, it doesn't have as much status quo changing weight as the previous season finale. Mark is stranded on that universe, but he quickly was saved by his friends and returned back to his old life.

The fallout will him and Cecil can be a great season finale as it will change everything up. The previous season changed the dynamic where Mark was just a rookie learning how to be a hero by his father. Nolan also was trying to keep his secret identity from everyone throughout the entire season. When the season ended, Mark had lost both his father and teacher and Nolan is outed as the vicious that he was. Season 2 could easily end with Mark and Cecil falling out where Mark is now truly alone, but it also changed the Guardian of the Globe where the team split up. Mark felt betrayed and he entered his new phase of his life with his new suit which the color scheme looks identical to the new title. This will definitely kick off season 3 with more excitement rather than having a "I thought you were stronger" cliffhanger that would immediately be resolved with the first few minutes. This is just my opinion, but I think that would be a better lead up. (Also technically speaking, a lot of issues after the Nolan reveal had already happened with season 1 and the gap between the reveal and the fallout isn't that long in actuality)
