Wasn’t the whole point with Angstrom Levy that any time Mark snapped and became evil in a world it was because something happened to Eve? So what gives here.

I have a feeling they may ease away from that a bit and have it be something more like "Eve's interactions with Mark are what let him create enough attachments with others to make him more loyal to humanity than Nolan." So in any universe where Mark is not close with Eve, his dad is able to disconnect Mark from his humanity and he becomes evil.

If you look at season 1, it's fair to guess that if Eve hadn't talked with Mark and taken him to meet the Teen Team, he likely would've spent much more time throughout the season "training" with Nolan instead of working with other superheroes, leading to disastrous consequences for Earth.
