My Boyfriend bet me $500 that I couldn’t beat Elden ring in 6 months with little to no video game experience. Humor

Post image

The rules of the bet:

  1. No magic
  2. Only Melee
  3. No farming for runes
  4. Have to beat the entire game by June, 6th, 2024

I am currently on the last boss of the game with 89 hours played. I hope the last boss doesn’t take me 5 months. 😂

its wild how quickly you can grab Radagons Sorseal (scarseal? I forget), 4 somber smithing stones, a gold chicken foot, bloodflame blade and the bloodhounds fang. Then go hit that fatty dragon with gold chicken feet, and run out through Liurnia to Iji and slap 4 levels on BHF. I think it takes me like 30 minutes. Its OP off the rip.

I want to try more 30 minute builds that you can get really quick after starting the game.

You used to be able to do like +8 somber pretty quick. Not sure if people have figured out other methods since they fixed the volcano manor jump. I haven't kept up with it

Without some glitches/exploits, you can just beat godskin noble using sleep pots, bleed, parrying, etc. That's what I always do so I can have a +9 weapon before Margit, only boss i need to kill is godskin noble.

Yea iirc Noble is a scripted fight with sleep pots and +2 uchigatana+ golden vow, but you can just have your weapon at +6 and play the game till you can beat noble naturally.

I’m stuck on Godskin Noble at Caelid tower using a quick build around Death’s Poker. I couldn’t make the glitch into the capital work on a console no matter how many times I tried and the abductor virgin doesn’t actually get you into volcano manor proper so I just can’t get Sombre 7. Ima try to put the bastard to sleep.

I take the dectus lift and ride through the altus plateau, cross the bridge of iniquity and just ride by everything to the front door of the manor. Doesn't take much effort, just a bit of time.

But you can only open the door if you speak to Tanith and you blow all the quest lines. I’ve only killed Margit and Radhan at this point. No quests complete.

It's not something I would recommend to someone for a first run through the game, but when you're just making builds then you probably don't need any specific questlines that you aren't already accounting for.

Yeah. I’ve been thinking about that. I did all quests 100% on my last play through so I don’t know why I even care. Mainly I think I don’t want to miss out on an important reward that can help this character if I end up building it well.

The jump is still possible. It’s just really, really hard now.

It just requires the Cracked Tear physics that you get from the Erdtree Avatar in Liurnia, but it's not that bad.

If you can make the Renna's Tower skip jump, you can get to the Ainsel river early.
