My Boyfriend bet me $500 that I couldn’t beat Elden ring in 6 months with little to no video game experience. Humor

The rules of the bet:

  1. No magic
  2. Only Melee
  3. No farming for runes
  4. Have to beat the entire game by June, 6th, 2024

I am currently on the last boss of the game with 89 hours played. I hope the last boss doesn’t take me 5 months. 😂

the same thing happened with me and a friend, and not only did i win the bet by beating the game, but im also way better than him now and can no hit like half of the main bosses lmao. good luck!!!!

edit: by main bosses i mean bosses required to beat the game so for me thats margit, godrick, red wolf, rennala, yellow godfrey, morgott, fire giant, godskin duo, maliketh, gideon, godfrey, radabeast. i probably forgot a couple but of these i can no hit half of them. i can also no hit a handful of side bosses like crucible knight, lion misbegotten, and the bell bearing hunters.

Do you have to do Margit? I always thought you could skip Margit if you wanted to. I always fight him anyway for the pouch, so I've never tried it myself.

Hell, for that matter, do you even have to fight Godrick?

you dont have to fight godrick, margit, red wolf, rennala, or radahn. you just need two great runes to get into leyndel, so between rannala, godrick, and radahn you need to fight two of them (i guess technically you could fight mohg instead but why lmao), so i always go for rennala and godrick cause theyre the easiest

Do you need two great runes for it? Can't you just grab the medllion halfs for the lift and then beat demon knight to get in? (I haven't played in over a year)

you can do that but you wont be able to get into the capital itself without at least two great runes

Margit godrick rennala and red wolf are "optional" I'm pretty sure, you just need the 2 great runes to get into the city. Your great rune options at that point are Mogh Rennala Rykard Radahn and Godrick. Though Rennala and Godrick are the easiest two to defeat

You can legit skip the 1st castle with Margit and Godfrey by taking a path east of it straight into Liurnia in case you didn't know

ive deleted most of them, the only one i still have up i think is the bell bearing hunter in caelid. i do have a couple almost no hit boss fights still posted though lol

Cap on what? Someone being able to beat half the bosses hitless? There’s people that beat the entire games hitless, doing bosses hitless really isn’t all that bad.

I can confidently say I can do it for all pre-Bloodborne bosses as well as all Dark Souls 3 bosses and I wouldn’t need stupid amount of attempts on each boss to do so.
