[Marks] There is no market for Zach Lavine. They are trying to give him away and attach a first round pick. I’ve been told that by multiple, multiple people. Highlights

A fully unprotected 2025 pick has my attention

For real, we aren’t attracting a player of his caliber the next few FA cycles, Bulls very likely gonna be buns next season.

Extra lottery ball in 2025 and a #2 scorer next to Cade. Unless Trajan can somehow scrap together multi firsts with the remaining cap for players on expiring deals, it’s definitely one of our better options imo

Guessing the Bulls want to have some silly protection on the first (like 20) otherwise, it makes sense

I know it’s a big if, but if he can stay relatively healthy and hasn’t lost his athleticism, that contract may not look so bad in a year or two and he may be a tradable asset.

Agree, in the final year of his deal $40M ish is going to be the going rate for an above average starter

He’s clearly not valued as an above average starter now, if GSW turned him down for only Wiggins and CP3.

Yeah, gotta think that GMs know something the casual fans don’t.

The contract sucks. Personally, I don’t think he’s a Ben Simmons type poison pill though.

Shutting down his season and electing to have foot surgery when Pistons rumors heated up last year probably not the best look for fringe play in teams who need a leader, further limiting his “market” to basically nothing since the contenders are cash strapped and not in any position to eat his remaining 3 year $125 or w/e that ridiculous number is
