Honestly, it makes the most sense for the roster. We’ve already got too many 6’2”-6’3” guards, with Tre Mann, NSJr, and KJ Simpson.

This probably means that we’re cutting Bertans for cap savings as well, though the deadline for that is later so they may try to use it in a salary dump trade.

Cutting Curry and Bertans opens the roster spots we need for Tidjane and a 3rd Center, though they may fix the center issue by using one of the two-way contracts on James Nnaji.

Nnaji will never play in the NBA. The dude was 3rd string in Europe to Billy Hernangomez(of all people) and couldn’t get off the bench.
