You can have 5000 of anything that starts with Y. What do you choose?

But you can only pilot one at a time. Oh, and also, can you pilot one?

Here's to you for bringing the realism to a hypothetical question

It's a reasonable question. Hypothetically if you had 5,000 f22's in yellow you'd be arrested. The planes confiscated. And then either repainted or scrapped for parts. Why? Because EVERYONE wants the f22. Including "article 5" Poland. You don't just magically get the words most advanced fighter jet without someone in the government telling you no.

Countries are waiting years for like 12 F22's and this guy suddenly has 5000 of them? Sus.

Yeah the US government won't even lease them yet. They're too advanced.

Ah yes, you're right. The F35's are on order. No one else has F22's.

I'm just surprised other countries can even order them. They apparently ruin whatever Russia claims to have. Iran won't even test them with a fly-by. And China has the only comparable aircraft and they're still leagues behind.

The F22 is a stealth jet with the radar cross section of a cockatiel.

The SU57 is a stealth jet with the radar cross section of a jet.

Exactly. They ruin the next best fighter by miles.

Sounds like it’s not very comparable to me.

Also they are planned to be phased out in the early 2030s assuming the new plane that's been in development comes on line as planned at that time. Also we have like 130-150 total including trainer versions.
