No, it doesn’t. And the AP is clearly a shitty human being too, so he’s not a viable option. OP and OP’s wife are out living their worst lives and now there are innocent casualties.
I respectfully disagree. The AP has greater odds of being a better father than OP in this case. Because it's his kid, not OP's. And OP is very clear about his aversion to the child.
I don't think Redditors truly appreciate how repulsed men *generally* are at the idea of having to raise another man's child. There's a reason why single mothers get routinely rejected (or passed over or pursued ONLY for short-term sex) on dating apps.
The AP removed the condom halfway through sex against his partner’s wishes. That is sexual assault. I don’t think a sex offender is a great person to raise a child.
ETA: I wasn’t suggesting OP should get anywhere near this child. Abortion or adoption are really the only options here, but either way OP and his wife are still horrible people.
Yeah. They need to stay together, give that kid up for adoption and exist as a warning to all their friends and family of what happens when two people stay together out of spite and social tradition
