Looks sick. Hope it sticks the landing (lord knows the discourse needs it)

The dialogue surrounding this game is nasty as hell, but I'm pumped as a long time fan of the series.

I will give Ubisoft some credit here. The combat looks more interesting than it has in recent AC games. And when playing the ninja character it looks like you can actually be stealthy again. So good job on that one.

I am still however hesitant as I expect the game to be riddled with the same Ubisoft formula that is in basically every single Ubisoft game at this point. I just wish they'd mix that part up more.

If the writing and combat are great then I can handle the other stuff. That's why people liked ghosts of tsushima, the combat was great and the story was decent

I'm also excited about the idea that apparently you can hide in shadows now. Sounds like it could be a very cool stealth mechanic

Say what you will about Ubisoft but their world building is second to none.

This looks like the best AC game created so far. Graphics particularly are epic.

Looked surprisingly good. Cool to see we play as Yasuke.

I’ve come around on it. It really comes down to how well they’re able to write this story. If done right he could be a really good protagonist that lets us learn about feudal Japan through an outsiders perspective.

He learns about the world and we learn about the world through him. Starting when he first landed in Japan and acquiring badass armor and weapons and prestige.

I found the last assassins creed games story lacking.

Can't wait to play this and meet one of the three(or maybe all of them) great unifiers of Japan.

Looked really good. That being said, Ubisoft has always had trailers that are much better than the actual games imo, so I'll still wait on a bit more in-depth look at the gameplay and systems first (which we should get tomorrow).
