The Dragons Peace (New Rule)
So it seems like things have gotten a little tense lately...
This is a sub for people to laugh and show their love of all things WoT through the lowest quality shitposting 'silly memes'. Posts attacking others, even 'in jest' only serve to divide the community, and foster negative feelings.
u/Key_Ad_1683's "Shitposting about the books until WH gets its vibe back" series is a great idea, and a good example of what the sub should be about. I've see others post about how they are going to follow Keys example, that is fantastic!
We have a new rule: from now on, no memes about things that aren't actually WoT. No meta posts about other subs, or about people who work on the show ect. These types of posts almost always devolve into a ton of personal attacks, slurs and threats. This sub was created so we could laugh together and poke some fun at the books which contain one of, in my opinion, the best stories ever told. Lets just do that and make the world a very slightly better place, instead of hating on each other, and making it worse.
You're still welcome to make memes about the show, negative or positive, we're talking about memes about the people who work on the show, or other subreddits.
Thanks for all the laughs everyone

Joining the Dark One
It's pretty clear from the story we only got a couple of competent members of the Chosen. It got me thinking, how would I recruit the main characters to my side, given the Chosen we meet really make no practical attempt other than Lanfear's 'lets bang' and Ishy's 'lets get obliterated together' which are not great tactics.
This isn't set in any particular timeline of the series, more a general approach.
Rand: Offer him peace. Offer him time. "The DO and his armies will withdraw to behind Malkier in the blight for 200 years" Pledge to the Dark One, and nothing more will be asked of you. Then 199 years later come back with another deal for less time and a slightly higher stakes. We're immortal. We have time.
Perrin: Perrin wants safety and to live peacefully. he wants the people he cares about to be safe. He's not so concerned with the world. Bring back his family, and protect Emond's Field & the wolves from the end of the world. Stop the creation of Balehounds. Setup a situation where he can take this as a bargain for staying away. He won't be happy, but he won't break his word.
Mat: Mat's at least halfway to serving the dark one by the end of the series. Not because of the dagger, but because he's married to the Empress of an evil empire and has shown no outrage at her ongoing atrocities, he's accepted a lot of evil already. Turning Mat is a matter of boiling a frog. Just keep slowly, slowly slowly putting him in positions where he has to make less and less good choices. The Seanchan are a perfect foil for this.
Egwene: Do a reverse Verin. Use her vanity and ego to make her think she can join and get our secrets, and give her power and knowledge. She's not a good or a moral person, once she's in, she'll be easy to steer to active membership. She'll rapidly be one of the Chosen.
Elayne: Same as Perrin funnily enough. She's got a lot of issues, but she's incredibly loyal to her people. Offering them safety, and setup in a way where its a choice of obliteration or service. I.e. one of the Choen making the offer the moment the attack on Camlyn starts. 'join or your people burn'. The risk with Elayne is she may do something off the wall absurd like grab a fire poker and try and bash your head in yelling 'forward the lion!'
Nyneave: I wouldn't even try. The moral core on Nyneave is cuileandar.
