Dude should try wrestling. We had a guy in our state that lacked a leg but was very fit, so he had a big advantage in the weight class he was in.

Lmao can you imagine wrestlers chopping off body parts to qualify for different weight classes?

Can't they get him a prosthetic or does it get in the way?

I can only think of prosthetics for sports that are engineered for running - with the direction changes, fast stops, pivots that are a natural part of basketball, the mechanisms would need to be a lot more complex. That seems like it would be pretty cost-prohibitive when you’re looking at a growing kid who needs new prosthetics frequently and would need a different type for ordinary walking around

That was my main concern, this guy's knee is going to be blown by the time he's in his late 20s

With this guys hops, he could pull off that Tigger costume from Winnie the Pooh, with his leg in the tail and 2 fake legs out front!

I don’t know why he doesn’t get a prosthetic. That is putting so much pressure on his knee joint. His knee is going to wear out super early doing that.

So…can you only buy one shoe?

This has been a hot topic in social media recently for runners. Nike advertises using mannequins with a running blade prosthesis, but doesn’t/didn’t have a system in place to sell single shoes to athletes with one foot. There are groups that pair up people who have similar shoe needs on opposite feet who share the cost and divide each pair of shoes. But not being able to order a single shoe is a real problem for many

I guess the only fair way to call traveling is if his momentum slows? Does that sound fair? Idk man, I just don't want to be the ref making that call lol.

I hope he has a prosthetic when he's not playing, otherwise his back will be fucked in 15 years.

i don't know about better than most, a lot of good basketball players can dribble between their legs.

Does he even have to dribble? I mean only one foot ever touches the ground so it’s not like you can really call it traveling.

Can he not get called for traveling, ever?
