“I see some happy little trees sitting in some fog. I think we can all relate to being in the fog of life sometimes…and that’s okay”

I've read that in Bob's voice and maybe i shed a tear.

I miss the man... :-(

Bob Ross would do this in 1/5th the time while telling you about his life experiences and giving you encouragement and validation.

Wet on wet painting technique, bob ross did not invent it, but refined it and made it famous

Reminds me of the drone shots of the forest in Twin Peaks the Return.

Yes, of course, paints are used here. Thanks, I'll keep that in mind.

Your description is almost as satifying as the image

This is the author's description (Sarah Mckendry). I added only the first two words to it and made a mistake in the second =/

"Drawing" how do you mess this up?

It’s very atmospheric, but the style doesn’t really work for me. The trees look too flat, hard-edged, and uniform to be properly realistic, but not flat, hard-edged, and uniform enough to look stylised.

Take a drive on a cold foggy day through Snoqualmie or Stevens pass. I guarantee it looks like this and so much more.

I’ve seen this in real life many times.

I agree that it looks so much more than this in real life, which is why I think it would be cool to capture that extra detail and color, or alternatively go for something more stylised.
