I would feel like a little kid again! If I trusted the giant, it sounds like an amazing experience.

Hm. The more I look at this video, the more I think that it's not a Lynx with a pet cat, but rather a wild lynx that got raised by a cat because he was sick or lost his parents.
That's REALLY COMMON for a large feline to be raised by a cat when something goes wrong and humans try to save them anyway. The way the kitty act toward the big murder fluffball is more like parent to kid.

Yeah that was also my read on the situation. The lynx is way too comfortable around the cat and person to have been a wild lynx. I think you're right that this is a foster mom situation.

Cats all have the same software... But it runs on different hardware.

Maybe related, but I’ve always wanted a big friend that can pack me around like a baby for shits.

Curious what the anxiety level of the pet might be.

Very low. You can see it with his body language.
As I said in another comment, it seems to be a Lynx that got raised by a mama cat. It's common when something went wrong with a cub and that getting him to stay wild outside isn't an option anymore : Cats can foster feline cubs pretty easily and it's a technique that get used in Zoo when no "adult" of their specie can be found.
Look how the Lynx is loving of the kitty, and how to kitty seems to be protecting the Lynx. That's a parental bound.

What's up with all of the posts lately that aren't actually oddly satisfying? Like, this is really cute but definitely doesn't fall under oddly satisfying.
Mods need to set more rules or actually look at some of the posts that have been going up lately.

Yes. This is my friend. Yes they are very large and overly affectionate. No they do not understand boundaries. It’s very tiring.
