Yes but they forgot the most important lesson of the Roman Empire, the people will let you do almost anything to them if they have food and entertainment. Greedflation ain't helping things, and rich poor gap is widening, oh have you also noticed media companies are just removing Terabytes of movies, articles, tv etc from the internet and streaming services.
